Our standard delivery service is complimentary (Free) for all addresses within a 30-kilometer radius of our Ballarat warehouse (15 Lal Lal Street, Golden Point, VIC 3350).
Cost: Free (Complimentary Delivery)
Coverage: All orders delivered within the 30km zone.
For delivery to addresses exceeding the 30-kilometer radius, we require a custom shipping quote.
Process: Please contact our customer service team at 04-3499-8188 before placing your order to obtain an accurate quote and delivery timeline.
Please note: Orders placed without prior quote approval for areas outside the 30km zone may be contacted for payment adjustment or cancellation.
Scheduling: Our logistics team will contact you within 1-2 business days after your order to schedule your delivery.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return if you change your mind.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original, unopened packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Please Note: This policy operates in addition to and does not exclude your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

If your return is accepted, we will provide you with a return logistics arrangement and instructions on how and where your item will be picked up. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

For large furniture items:
Damaged/Defective Items: If the item is defective or damaged upon arrival, Furniture World will cover all costs associated with the return and replacement.
Change of Mind Returns: For all non-faulty returns (i.e., you change your mind, ordered the wrong size, etc.), the customer is responsible for arranging and paying the associated large item return logistics fees. These fees will be deducted from your final refund amount.

The following items cannot be returned:
Custom Products: Items that are special orders or have been personalized (e.g., custom fabric choices, specific finishes).
Assembled Furniture: Any furniture item that has been fully assembled or installed, or shows clear signs of use, misuse, or wear and tear.
Opened Mattresses & Bedding: For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on mattresses or mattress protectors that have been removed from their original sealed packaging.
Clearance/Sale Items: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, final clearance items, or gift cards.
Please inspect your order immediately upon reception. If the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and arrange a replacement or refund under the Australian Consumer Law.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (following the above process), and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If the refund is approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
